Companion Kelvin J. Martin was born in 1979 Chicago, Ill. He received a Bachelor of Applied Science Degree in Criminal Justice March 2010 from Westwood College (A.C.I.C.S. Accreditation) Chicago Illinois. He was raised to the sublime degree of Master Mason November 2008 into Westchester Lodge #995, Ancient Free & Accepted Masons of Illinois, in Westchester Illinois and served as Worshipful Master in 2023 until 2025. He is a Life Member.
Companion Martin was exalted into West Suburban Chapter #207, Grand Chapter of Illinois, April 2009 where at that time was located in Downers Grove Illinois now at Riverside Illinois. He served as Excellent High Priest in 2024 and received the award of High Priest of the Year. He received the degree of High Priesthood in 2024.
He was greeted as a Select Master into West Suburban Chapter #103, Grand Council of Illinois April 2009 where he served as Thrice Illustrious Master in 2024 and received an appointment from the Most Illustrious Grand Master Jeff Estes as Illustrious Grand Sentinel in 2025. He received the Order of the Silver Trowel in 2024.
Sir Knight Martin was dubbed and created a Knight of the Valiant and Magnanimous Order of the Temple, April 2009 into Trinity Commandery #80, Grand Commandery of Illinois, where he is currently serving as Generalissimo.
Illustrious Grand Sentinel Martin was initiated into Alvin L. Crump Council #389, Allied Masonic Degrees, November 2022.
Brother Martin was initiated into Lagrange Chapter #201, Grand Chapter of Illinois, Order of the Eastern Star. He served as Worthy Patron in 2021, 2023 & 2024. He received the Rob Morris Membership Jewel in July 2025.
He was created a 32° Scottish Rite Freemason and Sublime Prince of the Royal Secret into the Valley of Chicago, Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite, April 2009 during a joint Reunion with the Valley of Las Vegas in Las Vegas, Nevada.
He was made a Noble of the Mystic Shrine at Medinah in November 2008 where he served on the Membership Committee and is a current member of the Police Unit.
He was initiated into the Ancient and Honorable Order of Turtles, Chi-Ill Turtle Pond, July 2023.
