Nurses Scholarship Foundation

Illinois Masonic Nurses Training Scholarship Foundation

Companion Charles Davis, MIPGM, to assist students who are pursuing a career in nursing, started the Scholarship Foundation in the early 1970’s. The students must be enrolled in an approved School of Nursing.

The number of scholarships granted each year is dependent upon the interest earned by the funds in the Nursing Scholarship Foundation and the approval of the Scholarship Screening Committee.

Since the inception of the Foundation there have been six to ten scholarships given each year. Over the last several years the request for scholarships has grown faster than the size of the fund.

The Health Care Industry has made many changes over the last thirty years. Those patients that were admitted to the hospital thirty years ago are treated at the doctors’ office as outpatients. Nurses must be better-trained and educated today more than ever before.

The need for a Nurses Scholarship Program is needed now more than ever to meet the needs for our future.

Please give some consideration to making a contribution to the Nurses Scholarship Foundation through the Cryptic Masons University.
